Septic Tank Pumping
The whole tank emptied, with the baffles and levels checked while the lid is open.
What we do
Clogged kitchen drains, leaky faucets and retaining walls belong to other trades. Our crews spend every working day on septic systems.
The whole tank emptied, with the baffles and levels checked while the lid is open.
New and replacement systems built to the engineer’s design, from excavation to final grade.
Broken tees, failed lines and leach fields that stopped draining, diagnosed before we dig.
Pit cleaning and treatment, and new pits drilled with the rig that fits your site.
Buried lids brought up to ground level, so the next pumping starts without a shovel.
Tank location by probe, records or electronic locator, and camera inspections of the lines.
Inspections scheduled around escrow, with written results for buyers, sellers and agents.
Scheduled grease trap pumping for restaurants and kitchens, planned around your hours.
Advanced Sanitation did a wonderful job. They arrived early in the time window they gave me. Sergio V, the technician, quickly began the process, proceeded quickly, and cleaned up the area. The estimate given me before the job started was accurate and appreciated.
Top notch as always! Fair pricing and the tech help from Sergio is always a helpful and informative. Thanks again for the great service!!!
I had exceptional service for my septic clean out of one tank and one tank I needed to still locate with additional service with camera service to determine location of septic cover. I had sent pictures of the second tank access point but it was not the right point of entry as it was a clean out pipe. I wish I had known this ahead of time but it was not the service man’s fault. He helped get the additional services I needed to determine the septic access location.
I had my septic tank pumped. This company is prompt, professional, and thorough. Cruz was very friendly.
Very quick and easy service. No hassle and very professional!
Jeremy eased my anxiety over dealing with this right away, he competed the job and gave me next steps.
We've been dealing with Advanced Sanitation for years. They are always friendly and accommodating to our needs. They are also willing to work around our tight schedules. We'll definitely be using them for our pumping needs for years to come.
Wow, septic system backed up - I made a call - Ana-Maria was fantastic - so much knowledge, very helpful, and exceptionally nice. Isai came over with the truck within hours and pumped the system out. He was also great and was very engaging and a nice guy. I cant believe how fast everything went and it was the staff that made it all happen. Very professional and I'm impressed.
Homes and businesses
Not knowing whether your tank will hold up is stressful, and waiting on a company that never shows makes it worse. We pump, inspect and repair septic systems promptly, tell you what we find as we go, and leave the property the way we found it.
For businesses, we work around your hours, give you a two-hour arrival window, and call about 30 minutes before the truck pulls in.
Why customers choose us
Good septic work does not have to come with a surprise at the end. Here is what you can count on from our office and our crews.
You get a two-hour arrival window and a courtesy call when the truck is about 30 minutes out, so you are not stuck waiting at home all day.
Pump trucks from compact units for tight driveways up to 6,300-gallon tractor and truck combos, drill rigs, excavators, electronic locators and a sewer camera.
Licensed by the Contractors State License Board (#1014079, C42). Our crew answers questions on site or over the phone and tells you plainly what your system needs, including when it needs nothing at all.
The office walks you through your quote before the truck is booked.
The big blue trucks get washed every week. They arrive clean, and so does the crew.
Before it becomes an emergency
These are the calls we get most. The sooner we look, the smaller the job tends to be.

New and replacement systems start with a registered geological engineer, who handles the soil and percolation testing and the design. We estimate from that design and build it.
Who you are calling
In January 2014, Sebastian became the owner of Advanced Sanitation and merged it with Thomas Pumping. His path started years earlier with hands-on work in the septic industry, often while holding down other jobs, until a part-time opportunity turned into a full-time career and then the company itself.
Today the company is still focused on dependable service and on being straightforward about how it communicates, prices and operates.

Our trucks leave from Somis, so most of Ventura County and the Conejo Valley is a short drive. If you do not see your town, call and we will tell you straight.
Not sure whether you are in range? Call and ask. If we cannot get to you, we will point you to someone who can.
Questions
Yes. We diagnose and repair septic systems across Ventura County, from broken tees and damaged inlet or outlet pipes to tanks and drainage that have stopped working. When only one part of the system has failed, we repair or replace that part and leave the rest alone.
Tee replacement, inlet and outlet line repairs, cracked or missing lids, risers, distribution box repairs, and full tank replacement when a tank cannot be saved. Every repair is done to code and permitted where the county requires it.
Most households do well pumping every two to three years, and our technicians look over the tank each time it is open. A full inspection makes sense when you are buying or selling a home, when pumping turns up a problem, or when the county asks for one.
Yes. We inspect septic systems for home sales and schedule around escrow, so buyers, sellers and agents get written results when they need them.
We remove the sludge and scum from the whole tank, not just the liquid on top, then check the baffles, filters, walls and levels and tell you what we saw.
Some companies treat pumping as draining the liquid and leave the solids. We do not. Every pump-out we do empties the entire tank, solids included, which is what cleaning should mean.
Septic is all we do. We hold a C42 sanitation system license from the Contractors State License Board, send our terms in writing before we arrive, and plan every dig to protect your yard.
